These Terms define the conditions for using "askblunt.com" (hereinafter "the Service") provided by Meddy Inc. (hereinafter "the Company"). The Service analyzes chat history and automatically determines relationships using AI.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. Users under 18 must obtain parental consent before use.

3. Account Registration and Management

  1. ID registration is required to use the Service.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their account information and must not allow third parties to use it.
  3. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from leakage or unauthorized use of account information.

4. Service Usage

  1. Users can provide chat history using the following methods:
    • Text messages
    • File upload (.txt format)
  2. The Company analyzes the provided chat history to assess relationships and provide related advice.
  3. Analysis results are reference information and do not guarantee actual relationship status.
  4. Analysis results are displayed only to the user and will not be notified to or shared with the conversation partner.

5. Usage Fees and Payment

  1. The Service offers both free and paid plans.
  2. Paid plans can be purchased through Stripethrough the following payment methods.
    • Credit card payment
    • Apple Pay
    • Google Pay
  3. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled by the user.
  4. Details and changes to pricing plans will be announced within the Service.

6. Prohibited Activities

  1. Actions that violate others' privacy
  2. Stalking or harassment using the Service
  3. Submitting others' chat history for analysis without permission
  4. Unauthorized use or obstruction of the Service
  5. Other actions that violate laws or public order and morals

7. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

  1. The Company may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice.
  2. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages caused to users by service suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.
  2. Users must not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute information provided through the Service for purposes other than personal use.

9. Chat History Usage and Storage

  1. The submitted chat content will not be exposed to third parties.
  2. Chat content is stored with appropriate encryption for AI context understanding.
  3. The Company may use anonymized statistical data for service improvement purposes, including trend and classification analysis.

10. Privacy and Personal Information Handling

  1. The Company properly manages personal information provided by users in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

11. Disclaimer

  1. The Company makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, usefulness, or timeliness of analysis results provided by the Service.
  2. The Service provides reference information based on AI analysis, which may differ from actual emotions or intentions.
  3. The Company assumes no responsibility for the consequences of actions taken based on analysis results.
  4. Users use the Service at their own risk and discretion.

12. Liability for Damages

The Company assumes no responsibility for damages caused to users in connection with the use of the Service, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Company.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.
  2. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

14. Changes to Terms of Service

  1. The Company may change these Terms as necessary.
  2. When changing the Terms, the Company will notify users through the Service. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Withdrawal and Cancellation

  1. Users may withdraw from the Service at any time.
  2. To withdraw, please proceed through the settings within the Service.
  3. For paid plan users, no prorated refunds will be issued for mid-contract withdrawals.
